Three New Member Ministries

March 16, 2017

In the 1first quarter of 2017 we  have welcomed three new Member Ministry programs to Ministry Alliance.

The first is 8:36 Medical Ministry led by Dr. Curtis Preik of Concord, NC (a suburb of Charlotte). Dr. Preik has given up his corporate medical practice in order to provide low-cost concierge medical services to those who want an alternative to the high-overhead practices of primary care medicine. He will be conducting free health clinics in partnership with willing local churches. Churches typically have outreach geared to the “whole person” such as financial curriculum, grief share, divorce care, parenting helps, and marriage ministry.  Why not medical ministry? What drives Dr. Preik to affiliate with Ministry Alliance is simple – the name,” 8:36 Medical Ministry” is derived from Mark 8:36 where Jesus said, “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” Dr. Preik wants the freedom to partner with churches and to share the life-giving message of Jesus Christ with his patients as opportunity presents itself.  Ministry Alliance is pleased to support this innovative ministry outreach.

The second new Member Ministry is God Has More. This is a biblical counseling ministry located in Greer, South Carolina and led by Travis Harrison. Travis is a man who was rescued from the clutches of rebellion and addiction many years ago and now provides biblical counseling to families affected by life-dominating sin to assist in the reconciliation of their relationship with God, one another and community.

The third new Member Ministry so far this year is Upper Midwest Men, a team of men in Central Minnesota who will be sponsoring a men’s conference later this spring. These men have a heart for the Gospel, a heart for their region and a heart for reaching and discipling men of all ages and stages of life.

History’s Most Important Question

April 4, 2015

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this? ” John 11:25.

This is the most important question ever asked in human history. How each of us answers this question is the difference between eternal life and eternal death.

Up from the grave he arose;
with a mighty triumph o’er his foes;
he arose a victor from the dark domain,
and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.

He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
