Our fees are transparent. The Member Ministry Program has a one-time $375 application fee. It also has a 12% service fee on all donation income. The Passages Program has no application fee. Its service fee is lower at 10%.

Yes, agreement with our Statement of Belief is required. We are an evangelical Christian organization. Our shared beliefs are the foundation of our partnership with all our members.

The process is fast and straightforward. After an initial interview, you will receive an application. Once we receive the completed application, you will receive a response from us within 3-5 days.

Yes, there is a minimum fundraising requirement. Each member ministry must raise at least $10,000 per year. If you need to raise less than this, you probably do not need to have non-profit status. This requirement ensures your ministry remains active and in good standing.

You control the vision, leadership, and daily activities of your ministry. We partner with you to provide structure and accountability.

All donations are legally given to Ministry Alliance. The IRS requires this for our 501(c)(3) sponsorship model to work. However, all funds given to your ministry are put in a dedicated account for your use. You use that money to pay for all your approved ministry expenses.

Yes, depending on your situation, you can be compensated from your ministry account as either a Contract Laborer (1099) or as an employee (W-2). If you are a Member Ministry that does not require compensation, you are considered to be a volunteer for the ministry you operate.

Your donors will give directly to Ministry Alliance. They can use a special online donation link for your ministry. They can also write a check to Ministry Alliance and write your ministry’s name in the memo line. We process the donation and send the donor their official tax receipt. Your donated funds are placed into a designated ministry account.
