Welcome – We Have A New Name!
After months of prayer and planning, we are pleased to announce that Faith in the Family International is now MINISTRY ALLIANCE.
The reason for changing the name is to more accurately reflect our mission to the public.
Although we continue to be committed to and involved in issues relating to strengthening families, our mission has broadened in recent years to the point where it became obvious that it was time for a change. A former member of the board of directors best summed up the issue when he said (referring to Faith in the Family International), “the mission has outgrown the name.” We are excited about our new name because it captures, in just two strong words, the essence of who we are and what we do. Our priority is the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and our method of carrying out the mission is through creating an alliance of independent ministries all working together under one umbrella. Thus, MINISTRY ALLIANCE.
With the new name comes a new tagline – Serving Ministries. Reaching Multitudes.
We are especially enthused about this new website because it enhances opportunities for communicating our message, for helping potential member ministry leaders find us and making online giving easier.
- MINISTRY ALLIANCE provides legal and operational sponsorship for qualified individuals who wish to conduct non-profit, Christ-centered ministry.
- Our mission is to expand the impact and the influence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- MINISTRY ALLIANCE currently has 35 Member Ministries located in 12 states and 3 foreign countries.
In this column we will feature highlights from the work of our Member Ministries and bring you interesting stories of how God is at work in transforming lives.
